Entry Requirements
- 1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens generally under the age of 45 (as of September 1, 2019), be in good health, and possess a valid regular passport.
- 2. Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree or above.
- 3. Applicants should present a TOEFL iBT certificate with a score of 80 or above, or an IELTS certificate with an overall score of 6.0 or above. Applicants who have taken all courses in English during their bachelor's degree studies are exempt from this requirement, but a medium-of-instruction certificate from the University should be furnished. Native English speakers are exempt from this requirement.
Note: Foreign citizens of Chinese origin (including former Chinese citizens who have obtained foreign citizenships, as well as the non-Chinese descendants of present or former Chinese citizens) only after being officially recognized by the Division of Exit and Entry Administration of Public Security Bureau as foreign citizens, can they apply for Residence Permit in China and register their academic records as international students. Please refer to the Instructions for Citizenship Certification for more information. Those who are not officially recognized as foreign citizens will have their qualification for enrolment revoked.

Program Description
Teaching Obejective
This program leads to the degree of Master of Economics, majoring in Financial Engineering. The program is designed to prepare students for international careers in finance that require solid analytical and quantitative skills. The program covers the fundamentals of finance, as well as advanced topics in corporate finance, financial management, and financial markets. *1. Bachelor’s degree certificate (notarized copy in English or Chinese)
Applicants who are currently studying at university should provide a study certificate. Certificate in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized translation in Chinese or English.
*2. Academic transcripts relating to bachelor's degree’s studies
Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by notarized translation in Chinese or English.
*3. Study or research plan
(1) The Plan should be no less than 1,000 words, written in English when applying for English-medium programs.

(2) When applicants intend to apply for two programs, they should present two separate study or research plans, with one for each program.
(3) Applicants for entry to the School of Economics or the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics should complete the attached form*4. Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English
Wrritten in English or Chinese from two professors or associate professors, ncluding professors' contact information, email address and handwritten signature.
*5. A photocopy of English Proficiency Certificate
A TOEFL certificate with 80 points or above, or an IELTS certificate with grade 6.0 or above, or other certificate of English proficiency from an accredited test.
*6. A photocopy of your valid passport
The passport should be valid through July 31, 2020.
*7. CV/ Resume
Written in Chinese or in English.
*8. Physical Examination Form(only valid for 6 months)
Please take it to hospital to have a checkup with all items, including personal information, photo, checking date, doctors' suggestion and signature.

Completed in Chinese or English, certifying that the applicant has sufficient funds to cover his or her tuition, accommodation, living expenses and international travels during his or her study in China. The minimum amount of funding required is RMB 100,000. Only one’s relatives can act as his or her financial sponsor. The Statement should be accompanied by a copy of the financial sponsor’s valid passport or identification certificate. Applicants for scholarships are not exempt from this requirement.
